Lucille Nixon died in a car accident in Beaumont, Texas

On Behalf of | Apr 2, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Lucille Nixon died in a Beaumont, Texas car accident. Jaricka Carter was the other driver involved in the crash. The unfortunate incident occurred on March 29, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Carter was driving on I-10 in one lane and Nixon was in the opposite lanes. Reports indicate that this was when Carter drifted into the opposite lanes and crashed head-on with Nixon’s vehicle. Carter was hurt in the accident, but his injuries weren’t serious. Nixon died as a result of the extreme injuries she sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of Nixon.

What was the cause of the accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
