On Behalf of | Apr 20, 2016 | Personal Injury -- Plaintiff |

Klaudia Flores hurt in an Ennis, Texas bus accident. Gerardo Flores and another student were also hurt in the crash and another person involved died. The unfortunate incident occurred on April 15, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, a school bus and a truck crashed into each other on Novy Rd. and Highway 34. Klaudia and Gerardo Flores both suffered oral injuries, but the reports exclude any information on the third injured student. The driver of the truck died as a result of the extreme injuries he sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of the truck driver. We also hope that all three students have a speedy recovery.

What was the cause of the accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about bus collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits.
