On Behalf of | Apr 2, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Gabrielle Gonzales died in an alleged drunk car accident in San Antonio, Texas. Edward Torres died in the accident as well. The unfortunate incident occurred on March 27, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, a vehicle was on I-35 with Gonzales and Torres as the passengers. Reports indicate that the person driving the car was under the influence when he lost control of the car and crashed into a tree. Gonzales and Torres died as a result of the extreme injuries he sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of Gonzales and Torres.

Was the driver really under the influence? Why did the driver leave the highway and crash into a tree? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
