Alex Silva died in a car accident in Bastrop County, Texas. Three other people were hurt in the accident as well. The unfortunate incident took place on March 18, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Silva was driving on Texas 95 and tried to pass a car that was in front of him while in a no-passing zone. Reports indicate that this was when Silva collided head-on with another car. Three people were hurt in the accident and taken to receive medical treatment. Silva died as a result of the injuries he sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of Silva. We also hope that the three injured people have a speedy recovery.

Why did the driver pass up the vehicle? Were any of the drivers speeding? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about fatal car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits.
