Naomi Walker died in a car accident in Pilot Point, Texas. Manual Sandoval-Martinez, Morgen Klohn, and Noel Vargas-Herrera were the other people involved in the accident. The unfortunate incident occurred on March 17, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.
According to reports, Sandoval-Martinez was driving his vehicle on Highway 377 with Vargas-Herrera as a passenger. Reports indicate that this was when Sandoval-Martinez veered into the opposite lanes and hit a vehicle being driven by Klohn. After hitting Klohn’s car, Sandoval-Martinez crashed into Walker’s vehicle. Sandoval-Martinez was hurt and taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Vargas-Herrera was hurt and taken to receive medical treatment for small injuries. Walker died as a result of the extreme injuries she sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and family of Walker. We also hope that Vargas-Herrera and Sandoval-Martinez make a speedy recovery.
It is always sad to hear about fatal collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.
Why did the driver veer into the opposite lanes? Was anyone distracted? Are there any other factors missing from this report?
Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.
The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
