Savannah Michelle Taylor, 21, was killed in a fatal car accident in Magnolia, Texas. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred on FM 1774. Taylor was driving south on the highway in a Ford Edge when another driver, Xavier Keyshawn Nero, 17, who was driving a Ford Explorer, crashed into her head-on. Reports state that Nero overcorrected after he went off the road, which caused him to collide with Taylor’s car. Taylor was killed from the injuries she sustained in the accident, while Nero was taken to the hospital and released. We wonder if this case could trigger a wrongful death claim.

Reports coming out of Scurry County state that Dustin Lynn Heady, 25, was killed in a car accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 11 PM on US 84, near Snyder, Texas. Reports state that Heady was driving on the highway when his car drove off the road and crashed into a guardrail. He was taken to the hospital but died from the injuries sustained in the accident. We wonder why the driver lost control of the vehicle. Was there a vehicle malfunction? Was there an obstacle in the road that he was attempting to avoid?

Two drivers were seriously injured in a car accident in Waco, Texas. According to law enforcement, the accident occurred on China Spring Highway at about 6 AM. Patrick Swanton, the driver of a pick-up truck was driving north on the highway when he attempted to turn on FM 185. The truck collided head-on with another vehicle, an SUV, which according to reports, was waiting in the middle lane to turn onto the highway from FM 185. Reports indicate that the truck turned into the middle lanes instead of turning into the right-hand lanes.
