Victim involved in fatal head-on crash in Corpus Christi, Texas.

Reports coming out of Corpus Christi, Texas state that one person has died and another has been severely injured after being involved in a car accident with an 18-wheeler. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at around 7 at the intersection of Suntide Road and Up River Road. Police believe that the driver of the 18-wheeler was driving north on Suntide Road, when a sedan that was going on Up River Road hit the rig head-on at the intersection. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured, but the driver and the passenger of the sedan were. The passenger died from their injuries, while the driver was taken to the hospital.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the victim’s family, who we imagine has been deeply affected by the accident. We also sincerely hope that the hospitalized patient recovers speedily.

Reports coming out of Fort Worth, Texas state that three firefighters were injured in a car accident on I-35 West. The accident occurred at about 4AM at Golden Triangle Boulevard. The firefighters were responding to a car accident that had happened earlier and were at the accident site. A patrol car was also at the site along with the fire truck. A pick-up truck hit the patrol car, which subsequently, hit the fire truck. The driver of the truck and three firefighters were injured. The driver was treated at the scene while the firefighters were taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the patrol car was empty.
