Reports coming in from Buffalo, Texas state that the driver of a pick-up truck died in a vehicle accident that involved an 18-wheeler. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at around 8:30 AM on Interstate-45. The driver of the 18-wheeler seems to have lost control of the vehicle and crossed the median. The vehicle rolled over and crossed the path of a Dodge pick-up truck that was going the opposite direction. The driver of the truck died at the scene of the accident. The driver of the 18-wheeler was not critically injured.

Our support and thoughts go out to the family of the victim. We understand that they may have been deeply affected by this incident. We understand that they may have many questions regarding the accident.

Why did the driver of the 18-wheeler lose control of his vehicle? Was there a vehicle malfunction? Was he attempting to bypass an obstacle in the road and over-corrected? Could this be a case for a wrongful death claim?

As you can imagine, car accidents are not uncommon in Texas.

Kimberly Scott crashed into a cosmetics store in Weatherford, Texas. This accident occurred because Scott accidentally put the car into forward gear instead of reverse. Instead of backing into the parking spot in the parking lot of the store, the car ended up moving forwards and crashing into the store-front. There were two minor injuries sustained in the accident. Scott was uninjured.
