Reports coming out of Corpus Christi, Texas indicate that a fatal accident occurred that ended two lives Tuesday. The people that lost their lives were identified as Rita Lynn Alegria and her passenger, Amy Alaniz Puga. Both were from Orange Grove, Texas. An 11-year old child suffered serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. A 24-year old passenger of the vehicle was taken to a hospital as well. We believe that she was in stable condition. Law enforcement believed that the car accident was caused by a driver’s medical problem or condition. Many accidents on roads are the result of the use of prescriptive medication and medical conditions. In this case, the driver may have been suffering from a medical condition at the time. Investigators say that male driver from Sinton was driving east on FM 624 when he drove onto the wrong side of the road and crashed into a vehicle heading west. The driver of the truck that caused the accident was also taken to the hospital and is reportedly in stable condition.
