An Encinal, Texas report states that three men have been killed as the result of a truck accident with an 18-wheeler. Another person was critically hurt in the Texas accident. The 18-wheeler was reportedly stopped along a South Texas highway when the car carrying passengers crashed into it. The 18-wheeler driver wasn’t hurt.
Bad news broke after three passengers in the pickup truck died at the scene. Responders took the driver to a San Antonio hospital. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families and friends of those that were lost in the horrible accident. The same goes out the the injured driver. We wish a speedy and well recovery. According to a report, the University Health System said that the 24-year-old David Trevino Jr. of Alice, Texas remained in critical condition.
The accident happened Monday morning on State Highway 44 near Encinal which is approximately 35 miles north of Laredo. Questions remain on why the pickup truck crashed into the tractor-trailer truck. The 18-wheeler was parked on the side of the road for repairs.
The names of those that perished as the result of passanger injuries have been released. They are: 39-year-old Ricardo Rene Tanguma of San Diego, 32-year-old Adrian Trevino of Alice and 24-year-old Andres Hinojosa Jr. of San Diego.
