On Behalf of | Feb 5, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Steve Vasquez died in a car accident in Austin, Texas. Two other people sustained injuries in the accident as well. The accident occurred on January 7, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit, especially when the investigation is complete.

One car was driving on Interstate 35 and steered onto Burleson Rd. According to reports, that car was then rear-ended by Jarred Farmer. After that, the report indicates that Farmer went on to hit another car that was being driven by Vasquez. Vasquez died as a result of his extreme injuries. Vasquez’s wife and passenger, Stephanie Vasquez, was injured and taken to the hospital. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the Vasquez’s and their family and friends.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Why did the vehicle collide with Vasquez’s car? Was there anything that could have been done to prevent this accident? What other factors are missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury and wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits.
