Candace Vernon died in DeKalb, Texas car accident

| Feb 4, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Candace Vernon died in a DeKalb, Texas car accident. Isodro Mariano Jr., Austin Hooks, Kaylee Payne, and a young girl were also injured in the car accident as well. The incident occurred on January 11, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

A vehicle being driven by Mariano Jr. was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 259 with four passengers. The author believes that the vehicle did not stop at the intersection and went on to crash into a tree. Mariano Jr., Hooks, Payne, and another female were taken to the hospital to receive treatment for their injuries, but there condition has not been reported. Vernon died as a result of the extreme injuries she sustained. Our hearts and prayers go out to those involved and their family and friends.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Why did the car crash into the tree? Was there anything that could have been done to prevent this accident? What other factors are missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death and personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits.
