Man injured in drunk driver crash in Corpus Christi

| Oct 18, 2015 | Car Accidents |

One man is hospitalized after a drunk driver crashed into him in Corpus Christi. The incident occurred in the early morning of October17, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury case, especially since the driver was reportedly intoxicated.

A car was driving and approached the intersection of Louisiana St. and Alameda St. Another driver crashed into the back of the other car at the intersection. The male driver of the car that was hit was transported to the hospital. His condition is not being reported. The inebriated driver that collided into the back of the other car was arrested for driving under the influence. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of the injured driver.

There is simply no excuse for operating a vehicle while under the influence. Every time someone turns the key to start the engine it is their responsibility to ensure that they are not impaired in any way. This man has injured another person all because of his selfish and irresponsible decisions.

The police have their own reports, but they cannot be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury and accidents caused by drunk drivers.
