On Behalf of | Oct 13, 2015 | Car Accidents |

Numerous people were hurt in a wrong-way accident in the Collin County part of Josephine, Texas. The head-on accident occurred on the morning of October 12, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury lawsuit depending of the results of the investigation.

One vehicle was driving in the eastbound lane on County Road 596. A westbound vehicle suddenly veered into the westbound lane colliding head-on with the eastbound vehicle. It is not yet reported as to what caused the other vehicle’s driver to drift off into the other lane. The three people in one car were trapped and once released they were flown to the hospital. The two people in the other car were taken to the hospital as well. The conditions of the five people are not known in the reports. Our hearts and prayers go out to those involved and their family and friends.

It is always sad to hear about car accidents, and this one is just as sad. I hope that all five people end up being okay. The roads are always a place of unpredictable moments, which is why safety is so important.

It is being investigated what caused the head-on car crash. Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding car accidents resulting in personal injury lawsuits.
