On Behalf of | Oct 13, 2015 | Car Accidents |

An intoxicated man causes three car accidents and injures one person in San Antonio. These unfortunate car accidents occurred on the night of October 10, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury lawsuit, especially since it is being reported that the driver was in fact inebriated.

A man was driving under the influence on SE Military Drive and hit one vehicle while it sat at a red traffic light. This led to the car sitting at the light to crashing into another vehicle. The drunk driver proceeded to drive the wrong way down the street and collided head-on with another car. The drunk driver then attempted to drive away from the scene, but was arrested by police. The driver of the car that the drunk driver hit head-on had to be taken to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Our hearts and prayers go out to those injured and friends and family.

The intoxicated driver faces charges of leaving the scene of an accident, failure to stop and render aid, and driving while under the influence.

There is simply no excuse for operating a vehicle while under the influence. Every time someone turns the key to start the engine it is their responsibility to ensure that they are not impaired in any way. This man has injured another person and damaged the cars of various others due to his selfish choices.

The police has their own reports but they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury lawsuits and accidents caused by drunk drivers.
