Motorcycle accidents are not uncommon in Texas.

Reports coming out of San Antonio state that Jose Luis Davila was hit by a motorcycle as a pedestrian. Law enforcement believes that Davila stepped off the road when he was hit by the motorcycle. The accident occurred at about 10 PM on Pleasanton Road at Kendalia. Davila was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries while the motorcyclist was not injured. We wonder if the motorcyclist was able to see the pedestrian or if speed might have been a factor in the accident. We wonder if the pedestrian was legally crossing the road or if he was jaywalking.

It is incredibly important to be careful as a motorcyclist or as a pedestrian because the risks for a collision are much more than for a car driver.

We sincerely hope that those that are hospitalized recover speedily.
