Four people injured in car accident in New Braunfels, Texas.

Reports coming out of New Braunfels, Texas state that four people were injured in a car accident. Police believe that the accident occurred at around 3 AM on Loop 337 and River Road. A Toyota Avalon was driving on that street when a Jeep Wrangler attempted to turn in front of it. Two people from the Toyota and two people from the Jeep were taken to the hospital. They are believed to not have serious injuries.

As one can imagine, car accidents are not uncommon in Texas.

Reports coming out of San Antonio state that a man is severely injured after a car accident. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at about 12 AM on West Martin Street and North Nueces Street. The injured man had been driving in the eastbound lane of West Martin Street when the car collided with another car that was heading west. The two people in the other car left the accident scene. The man was seriously injured and taken to the hospital. There is an investigation where the two suspects are being tracked down. The cause of the accident is unknown as of yet.

Luckily, there were no fatalities in either one of these accidents. We sincerely hope that those that are hospitalized have speedy recoveries. We wonder what may have caused these accidents. For the first incident, did the driver of the Jeep simply not see the Toyota because of the late time of night? Was this a case of distracted driving? Were their headlights on? In the case of the second accident, we wonder if it also may have been a case of distracted driving.
