Allan Dale Smith was involved in a fatal head-on collision in Waxahachie. According to law enforcement, the car accident occurred at about 8 PM on FM Road 66. Police believe that Smith was driving on the road in a Honda Accord when he drove into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a Jeep Cherokee that was being driven by Kyndal Faye Esselman. Esselman did not have enough time to react and hit the Honda. Police believe that Smith pulled out of his lane and was not able to see the cars coming towards him. Smith died from the injuries he sustained in the accident while Esselman was taken to the hospital with non-critical injuries.

Our thoughts and hearts go out to the victim’s family, who we imagine have been deeply saddened by this accident. We encourage families who have experienced similar situations to contact a personal injury attorney who may be able to explain to them their options and rights.
