Jessica Lee Harris and Stacey Daily, both from Graham, Texas, died in a fatal car accident on Highway 337 in Palo Pinto County. Police states that the accident involved a 2010 Mitsubishi and a 1999 Chevrolet van. The accident occurred at about 5:30 PM on State Highway 337 north of U.S. Highway 180 near Mineral Wells. The van was travelling south when it collided with a Mitsubishi that was heading north. The van was occupied by seven members from a Graham church, who were all taken to the hospital. One of the passengers, Stacey Daily, died in the hospital from the injuries sustained in the accident. The driver of the Mitsubishi, Jessica Harris, also died at the scene.

Law enforcement believes that the Mitsubishi crossed the center line of the highway. The driver of the van attempted to avoid the Mitsubishi and drove it into the northbound lane. Harris corrected her driving and hit the van in the northbound lane. This caused the Mitsubishi to catch on fire and the van rolled over.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the victims of the car accident. We imagine that their families and the communities have been deeply affected by this tragedy. We wonder what could have happened. Why did the driver of the Mitsubishi cross the center line? Was she avoiding an obstacle in the road? Was she distracted? Was there a vehicle malfunction? Does this incident trigger a wrongful death claim?
