Car accidents are not uncommon in Texas.

Reports coming out of Houston state that a Harris County sheriff’s deputy was injured in a car accident while on duty. The deputy was driving towards a chase area in order to catch a car thief. On the way to the area, a car pulled out from a side street, causing the deputy to swerve in order to avoid it. This caused the deputy’s car to veer off the road and crash into a power pole. The car rolled over and crashed into a few trees. The deputy was injured but not grievously so. We sincerely hope that the deputy will have a speedy recovery.
