As you can imagine, accidents of these kinds are not uncommon in Texas.

Reports coming out of San Antonio state that a woman was killed on Interstate 10 when she was hit by a driver. Law enforcement believes that the accident occurred at around 11:30 PM on Interstate 10 near Expo Boulevard. The woman in question lost control of her car and hit the guardrail of the road. A pick-up truck crashed into her car because the accident was seen too late. When the woman got out of her car, she was hit by yet another car. She was taken to the hospital. We deeply hope that recovery is quick.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the families and communities of these victims. We imagine they have been deeply affected by these accidents. We understand that they may have many questions.

Why did the drivers lose control of their cars? Was there a vehicle malfunction? Was there something in the road that they were attempting to avoid and overcorrected? In the first accident, did the driver who hit the woman do so because he could not see her?
