Our hearts and thoughts go out to the family and friends of those lost in this accident. We suspect that they may have many questions. They may wonder how exactly did the accident happen. Was the truck driver at fault? Did the either driver fail to keep a proper lookout? Did either driver fail to properly control the vehicle? The families may not have added expenses as the result of the death. They may not have to look at insurance policies to see if an insurance company will cover the accident. Where do they start?
Experienced Texas personal injury lawyers know the process. They would also be interested in investigating whether this is a wrongful death case. The attorney will ask, “What are the policy limits” in any insurance policy that may cover this accident. How could this accident have been avoided? Texas wrongful death lawyers often use investigators to take a look at the accident and see how it really happened. They do not only rely on the police report. Do you have questions?
