In or around Alice, Texas, an explosion at Bobby’s Automotive caused injuries to one or more individuals. One man received with severe burns. The incident occurred this past Monday morning. The auto shop caught fire after a can of oil exploded.  According to a police official, the injured man was welding right before the fire. The welder was received a forced blow due to the fire explosion.

The Texas man that suffered from painful burns was moved away from the fire by another individual doing a good deed.

The auto shop is located on Lucille Street. It also located next to Ayala’s Tire Service. The majority of the damage occurred to the right side of the building between Ayala’s Tire Service and Bobby’s Automotive. Ayala’s did not suffer any damage. The man that suffered from personal injuries was taken to the hospital by Guardian EMS where he was flown by Halo Flight to a hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.

How did the accident happen? Was it the result of a dangerous product? Was it the result of someone else’s negligence? Work place injuries like this should not occur. Sever burn injuries can lead to a wrongful death case. In this case, hopefully, the burns were not as severe. The unfortunate future associated with burn injuries is that the injured worker can suffer from the loss of wages. The person may also suffer from disfigurement and scaring.
