Car splits in half after Houston car accident

On or about August 29, 2013, in Houston, Texas a car crash was violent enough to split a car in half. One vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed on Westheimer Road. In auto-accident caused two people to be severely injured and require hospital care.  The car crash happened near Westheimer Parkway around 2:20 a.m.

Houston police officers reported that a silver Honda sedan was traveling eastbound when the male driver could not control the vehicle and hit a concrete curb. Next, the car crashed into a fire hydrant and then struck a shopping center sign. The shopping center sign helped split the vehicle in two. This was unique car accident.

The male driver was taken to the hospital. The female passenger was sent to the hospital in critical condition while the male driver was reported in stable condition. In incidents like the one described, it is not uncommon for the people in the vehicles to suffer from head and brain injuries. Even more common are neck and back injuries.
