Timothy Guajardo died in a motorcycle accident in Austin, Texas. The crash occurred on Burleson Rd. and McKinney Falls Pkwy. The fatal accident occurred on February 14, 2016. We believe that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, a vehicle was about to turn on McKinney Falls Pkwy while at an intersection green light yielding to approaching vehicles. Allegedly this was when a motorcycle entered the lane to turn and head-on crashed with the vehicle. Guajardo died as a result of the extreme injuries he sustained. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to those involved and their families and friends.

The driver — identified as Timothy Guajardo, 36 — was not wearing a helmet, police say. He was declared dead at the scene.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

What really caused the accident to occur? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
