On Behalf of | Nov 4, 2015 | Car Accidents |

Francisco Alvarez Garcia is dead after a head-on collision in Fannett, Texas. This fatal accident happened in Jefferson County on November 1, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury lawsuit, depending on the evidence that is found.

Garcia was driving on FM 365 in the south lanes. Terrant Durham was driving in the north lanes on FM 365. Suddenly, Garcia veered across the middle of the highway and into the north lanes. This caused a head-on crash between Garcia’s and Durham’s vehicles. Garcia died at the scene because of the critical injuries. Durham was taken to the hospital with injuries that were reportedly not critical.

Our hearts and prayers go out to their family and friends. We hope that Durham has a speedy recovery.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why safety and adhering to the road signage is very important.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury lawsuits.
