Houston truck accident from tire blow out results in death

Around 12:10 p.m., a male driver was involved in a fatal truck accident. He was driving north on Highway 59. The Houston police are investigating.

One of the driver's passengers died at the scene. He was driving a red Ford F-250. The vehicle was pulling a trailer. He was hauling a large compressor on the trailer. While traveling on Highway 59, he had a tire blow out. The Front left tire blow out caused the driver of the truck to lose control. Perhaps this accident related to a defective product, a defective tire or defective wheel. Many lawsuit have been filed as the result of defective tires and accidents, many that have resulted in death. The accident should be investigated to determine whether there was a defective tire.

Many truck accidents and automobile related injuries are related to product defects. Sometimes they involved defective tires and wheels and sometimes they involve other components. There are lawsuits against Ford in cases where the drivers believe that they place the vehicle in park and then the vehicle goes into reverse. These are called "park-to-reverse" cases or illusory park cases.

In this particular case, after the truck lost control, the Ford truck crashed into a concrete pillar. The trailer struck the cab of the truck. The front seat passenger died at the scene. Luckily, the driver and another passenger survived and were taken to the hospital.
