On Behalf of | Jul 5, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Ralph Hurtado died in a bicycle accident in Austin, Texas. The unfortunate incident occurred on July 2, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete. According to reports, Hurtado was found unconscious on Montopolis Dr. after allegedly being thrown from his bike and died later at the hospital. Allegedly, investigators don’t think there was another vehicle involved, but there are other differing stories being reported. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the friends and families of Hurtado.

What was the cause of the accident? Were there any witnesses? Was there in fact another vehicle involved? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about fatal accident, and this accident is equally as sad. Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
