Angela Lynn Adkins died in a car accident close to Abilene, Texas. Charles Dixon and Bruce Foreman were injured in the crash. The unfortunate incident occurred on June 30, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Adkins was driving on Highway 351 when she attempted to pass a vehicle in an area that wasn’t approved for passing. She tried to veer back into her lane once she saw Foreman’s vehicle coming in the opposite direction. Adkins veered too much, so she turned her wheel again and ended up colliding head-on with Foreman’s vehicle. Dixon was the passenger of Adkins’ vehicle and was critically injured. Foreman was reportedly serious injured as well. We hope they both make a speedy recovery. Adkins died as a result of the extreme injuries she sustained and our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to her friends and family.

What was the cause of the accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death and personal injury lawsuits.
