Leslie De Luna died in a car accident in Denton, Texas. One of her brothers died in the accident and her other brother was injured in the accident. The unfortunate incident occurred on February 6, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

A truck driver was traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 380. According to reports, the truck collided with the rear of a van that was at a traffic light. From there it is believed that the impact forced the van to collide in a domino-effect with two other vehicles. One boy in the van suffered injuries and his condition is reportedly critical. Leslie De Luna and her other brother died as a result of the extreme injuries they suffered in the collision. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to the families and friends of the De Luna’s. We also hope that the little boy makes a speedy recovery.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

What caused the vehicles to crash with one another? Could anything have been done to prevent this accident? What other factors are missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury or wrongful death lawsuits.
