Darlene Knish died in an auto-bus accident in Houston, Texas. The fatal accident involved a Cy-Fair ISD bus, but no students were on it. The fatal crash occurred on February 22, 2016.We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Knish was driving on Farm-to-Market 529 and a truck being driven by Felix DeJesus turned onto her path and hit the front of her vehicle. Reports indicate that the impact of this crash caused Knish’s car to switch directions and she collided head-on with a CFISD bus. Knish died as a result of the extreme injuries she sustained in the crash. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to Knish’s family and friends.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Why did the driver reportedly turn onto Knish’s path? Was the driver distracted? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
