Woman on a bike injured after crash in Houston, Texas

On Behalf of | Nov 4, 2015 | Car Accidents |

A woman riding her bike is injured after being hit by a car in Houston, Texas. This unfortunate crash occurred on the night of November 3, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury lawsuit, especially if evidence shows that the driver of the car was at fault.

A woman was headed in her car on T.C. Jester and paused at a stop sign at West 20th St. As she proceeded to go through the intersection, a woman riding her bicycle appeared in the front of her car. The woman in her car could not stop before hitting her and ended up running over the female on the bike. The woman on the bicycle was transported to the hospital. Reports indicate that her condition is stable. Our hearts and prayers go out to her and her family and friends.

The female driver spoke to the Houston Police Department and the bicycle accident is being investigated. It is still not determined who was in the wrong.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury lawsuits.
