Two people died and some students were hurt in a car racing accident in Killeen, Texas. This fatal incident occurred on November 13, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially if evidence proves that the car that was racing was at fault.

One Killeen ISD student was racing another car down Trimmier Dr. with three other people in the car. The student sped through an intersection and crashed into another car that was trying to turn on Nichols Drive. The car that the student collided with contained a man and a woman. At minimum two Killeen ISD students have injuries that are reportedly not serious. The man and woman both died because of their extreme injuries. Our hearts and prayers go out to their family and friends during this difficult time.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely and adhering to the speed limits is critically important.

Although the police have their own reports, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
