Six construction workers hurt in falling of scaffold in Houston

Six construction workers are injured after a lot of scaffold abruptly fell in Houston. The incident occurred on October 16, 2015 at the intersection of Preston St. and Crawford St. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury lawsuit.

A building in downtown Houston was being worked on by many construction workers. Suddenly, a vast amount of scaffolding fell onto the ground. The amount of scaffolding that fell covered a big block close to Minute Maid Park. It is reported that six people were hurt at the construction site.

It is also reported that the injuries they sustained are not critical. The reports also indicate that they are not sure if any more construction workers were killed or injured in the collapse. Our hearts and prayers go out to those injured and their friends and family.

What caused the scaffolding to fall? Was there anything that could have been done to prevent this collapse? Were all precaution measures taken?

There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the reports, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury lawsuits.
