Lloyd Cannady, Brandon Robinson, and Katrina Wood died in a car collision near Jacksboro in San Antonio, Texas. This fatal accident occurred on the evening of October 16, 2015. We would anticipate that this case would result in a wrongful death lawsuit, especially if evidence shows that the other driver was at fault.

Brandon Robinson was driving on Highway 281 with one passenger, Katrina Wood. Robinson failed to yield to the other car as he turned on Highway 380. Robinson’s car collided with Lloyd Cannady’s garbage truck. Both cars eventually caught on fire. Cannady died at the scene. Robinson and Wood, the passenger, died at the scene of the accident as well. Our hearts and prayers go out to their family and friends.

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why safety and adhering to road signage is very important.

Although the police have their own reports they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding wrongful death lawsuits.
