On Behalf of | Oct 15, 2015 | Wrongful Death |

Clara Darby Ward is dead and Doan Thi Thuy-Nga is hospitalized after a car accident in Escambia County. The fatal incident occurred on October 13, 2015. We would anticipate that this case may result in a wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit depending on the results of the investigation.

Ward and Thuy-Nga’s vehicles collided at the Boulder Avenue and Mobile Highway intersection. Ward and Thuy-Nga were both taken to a local hospital. Ward died at the hospital and Thuy-Nga remains in critical condition. Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of both people.

What caused the accident? How did both vehicles end up colliding at the intersection? What other factors took part in this fatal crash?

Reports indicate that the Florida Highway Patrol are not exposing the facts of the car collision. It is also being reported that charges won’t be determined until the end of the investigation.

Although the Florida Highway Patrol is conducting their own investigation, their reports cannot be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury lawsuits and wrongful death lawsuits.
