According to law enforcement, the accident occurred at about 4:30 PM at the intersection between North Hackberry Street and East Houston Street. Police believe that Taylor’s Lincoln SUV and a Chrysler collided at the intersection. It is unclear as to whether who had right-of-way. In the Chrysler, there were three people. They were all taken to the hospital. One of the passengers is in critical condition, while the other two have less severe injuries. In the SUV along with Taylor, there were two officers, who seem to have not been hospitalized.

It is incredibly important to be careful when driving a vehicle. It is even more important when one is a motorcyclist because the risks for serious injuries and fatalities are much higher than if one is in a car. It is critical to be aware of other vehicles, especially on the highway or at intersections. It is important to remember the rules of the road, who has right-of-way and to not operate vehicles at a high speed.
