Sara Irvin involved in 18-wheeler crash in Tyler County, Texas.

Reports coming out of Tyler County, Texas state that Sara Vaughn Irvin died in an accident involving an 18-wheeler. The accident happened on U.S. 69 near the FM 256 intersection at about 6 AM. Sara Irvin of Colmesneil was driving a Chevrolet Cobalt and was driving north. Jackie Lanning was the driver of a Freightliner tractor-trailer rig and was driving south. It is thought that the Chevrolet drifted out of the northbound lanes and into the southbound lanes, where it hit the 18-wheeler. Irvin died from the injuries sustained in the accident. Lanning was not injured in the accident.

Our support goes to the family of the victim. We imagine that their family may have many questions. Was the cause of the accident a vehicle malfunction? Could it be possible that since it was so early in the morning, the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel out of tiredness? Did the driver have a medical condition?

Vehicle accidents are not the only accidents that occur in Texas. There are occasionally workplace injuries.

An explosion that occurred in Upton killed three people and injured another at an oil and gas field. There are not many facts known about this case. Perhaps there was too much pressure from underground and this caused the explosion.

Our thoughts and hearts go out to the victims of the accident. We sincerely hope that the victim who was injured makes a speedy recovery.
