Reports coming out of Gregg County, Texas state that two people died and three more were injured in a car accident. The accident occurred close to Interstate 20 on Highway 31 at about 8 PM. The accident occurred when David Denman of Kilgore and Benjamin Sanchez of Conroe collided in a head-on accident. They both died because of the collision. Heather Sanchez, a passenger in Benjamin Sanchez’s car, and two children were taken to the hospital. Sanchez and one of the children is in stable condition, while the other child is grievously injured.

Head-on collisions are not uncommon in Texas.

Reports coming out of Killeen, Texas state that a person was killed in a vehicle accident. The driver was trapped in the burning car, a 1998 Chevy Lumina, and was not able to be extricated by law enforcement. The driver of the other car, a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, involved in the accident was sent to a hospital and is reported to be in critical condition.

The accident occurred at around 4:30 AM in the 8400 block of South Fort Hood. The Chevy was heading southbound on the highway when it collided with the Chevrolet head-on.
