Christopher L. Harvey, from Killeen, was killed in a pedestrian accident in Harker Heights. The accident occurred at about 10 PM on FM 2410. A Honda Civic rear-ended a Ford Crown Victoria on the highway. The Honda swerved off the road after hitting the Ford and hit Harvey. He died from the injuries he sustained in the accident.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the families of these victims. We understand that they may have many questions.

What was the cause of the vehicle accident? Was it a case of distracted driving? Did the Ford stop abruptly so the driver of the Honda did not have enough time to brake? Does this accident trigger a wrongful death claim?

Another accident in San Antonio shows just how prevalent vehicle accidents are in Texas.

An elderly woman crashed into a house on Desilu Drive, near Wurzbach Street and Babcock Street. The accident occurred around 12 PM, when the woman seems to have passed out and lost control of the car. Luckily, neither the woman nor anyone in the house or in the path of the car was hurt. However, we can only imagine the tragedy that would have befallen if there had been.

It is not known whether the woman passed out because of medical issues.
