Young Sabrina Fernandez of Grand Prairie, TX dies after car accident.

It is our sad regret to blog that Sabrina Fernandez, 18, of Grand Prairie died after a head-on collision this past Tuesday night in Fort Worth, Texas. This head-on collision not only killed this pregnant teenager, it also killed her unborn child and the woman who was driving the wrong way on the highway. Sabrina was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The woman who was driving east in the westbound lanes of the highway died at the scene. The woman that was driving the wrong way was alone in the vehicle, but a 28-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy that were riding in Sabrina's vehicle were taken to a hospital in critical condition. Our hearts and thoughts go out Sabrina's family who may have a wrongful death case.

What was the reason for the accident? The following are several reasons for distracted driving. Daydreaming can cause a driver to be cognitively distracted from driving safely. Music is also distracting. Something as simple as turning up the volume or changing the station or song can be distracting. Failing to keep a proper look out is also another reason. But what was the reason in this case?

The author can imagine that the family may have several questions on what to do after an incident like a tragic fatal accident. This is why it is important to consult an attorney.
