Issac Houston used to play football at Daphne High School. The former athlete died in a car accident early Saturday morning. In car crash occurred near Northeast El Paso, Texas.  He was serving in the Army and stationed at Fort Bliss. He was driving the vehicle and died at the scene. A 20-year-old passenger in Houston’s car was not injured. The accident happened at 2:30 a.m. Saturday. According to local reports, the other driver was identified as Noemi Juarez who allegedly caused the accident. She was arrested in connection with the crash on suspicion of intoxicated manslaughter.

The driver that allegedly caused the car accident was driving a Jeep Cherokee at a high rate of speed and struck Issac Houston’s Chevrolet Cruze from behind. Due to the type of collision, the force caused Houston to hit the curb and crash into a bus bench.

Our hearts and prayers go out to Issac’s family. Not only may this be a difficult time for them due to the loss of this young person, but now they have to literally pay for the harm allegedly caused by someone else. While the family may have a wrongful death case against the other driver, the family may find themselves up against an insurance company that does not care about them and one that does not want to pay what the family deserves. An experienced personal injury attorney will know what to do and how to fight an insurance company.
