Karim Abouelfadl of Long Island involved in fatal car accident.

Police say a Long Island, New York driver is dead after he swerved into oncoming traffic. He smashed into another vehicle head-on. The driver that he crashed into suffered non-life threatening injuries. She has been identified as Jennifer Ginexi of North Babylon. She was driving a Ford Fusion. The name of the driver that hit her has been identified as Karim Abouelfadl. He is 26 years-old. He did not survive the accident. The Weaver Law Firm, a firm of personal injury attorneys, was recently retained by 4 children of a New Jersey man that died in a motorcycle accident. The father was involved in a motorcycle accident involving an 18-wheeler. Just like the firm’s attorneys are conducting an investigation on the potential wrongful death case, Jennifer Ginexi’s family may want to conduct their own private investigation into the accident. Karim Abouelfadl’s family may want to conduct an investigation as well to determine whether all of the car’s safety devices worked at the time of the accident.

It is our current understanding that the car accident happened at about 7 p.m. Friday in North Lindenhurst. We believe that Abouelfadl’s car had entered into Ginexi’s lane. He was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.  Even though Abouelfadl may have went the wrong way or caused the crash, could he survived the accident? Did the vehicle’s airbag deploy? Did his seatbelt work? There are times when a car’s safety devices do not work which result in death.
