On Behalf of | Aug 29, 2014 | Car Accidents |

Even though the police did not release the names of the drivers at the scene of a recent motorcycle accident in Oklahoma, we know that a motorcycle rider was flown to a hospital on Tuesday. The driver broke his leg after being involved in a collision with a car.  The Durant Police Department, Durant Fire Department and Bryan County EMS were at the scene of the motorcycle accident. The driver suffered from major injury. The incident occurred near West Evergreen and North 12th Avenue intersection. A witness reported that a car hit the motorcycle.

Luckily, the man who suffered a broken leg due to the accident was transported by Bryan County EMS to the helicopter pad at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma. Then, he was flown to another hospital. According to police authorities, the wreck happened after the female driver who was headed northbound on North 12th Avenue failed to yield to the motorcycle. The bike was traveling on West Evergreen Street. The motorcycle rider is very lucky to have survived this car accident. Still, in addition to a broken leg, he is probably suffering from neck and back injuries.

When people are injured in serious accidents, they may also loose the ability to work and then suffer from lost wages. Injured individuals may need an attorney to assist them to obtain lost wages and compensation for pain and suffering. Is there pain and suffering from a broken leg? Let’s ask the motorcycle rider injured in this accident.
