Motorcycle accidents are unfortunately too common in Texas. Recently, reports out of Kyle, Texas indicate that a fatality accident involving a bike claimed the life of Jonathian W. Driskill. He was 28-years-old and pronounced dead at the scene. Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends.  He was killed when his motorcycle was involved in an accident involving multiple vehicles. Police authorities closed southbound Interstate 35 for several hours Friday evening as a result of the accident and their investigation.

While police authorities may continue to investigate fatality accidents, it is not uncommon for a family’s lawyer to hire their own private investigator in order to learn the true cause of the accident. This is done in order to determine whether there is a wrongful death case. In this situation, we believe that the accident occurred after 9:00 p.m. at the 217 mile marker in Kyle. We also believe that the accident involved the motorcycle, a commercial truck and a passenger car.

We are interested to know the extent of the responsibility of the commercial vehicle.

In another part of Texas, two people died early Sunday in a motorcycle wreck on Interstate 635 in Grapevine. Reports indicate that the two individuals were from Garland, Texas. We understand that their family members may have questions about this accident as well.

The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified the woman as Tiffany Chu. The other victim was 27-year-old Brian Douglas Johnson. Unfortunately, they both died at the scene of the accident.

In this situation, we believe that the accident occurred in the 3000 block of I-635 and that the 2009 Suzuki GSXR was traveling west on the highway. While the police believe that the driver lost control and hit the guardrail, we would like to know what other vehicle was involved, if any.
