America has learned that a truck driver, allegedly working for Wal-mart has been charged with causing the multi-car crash that killed one person and left four injured, including comedian Tracy Morgan. Morgan starred in NBC’s “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live.” A report indicates that Morgan had a broken leg and was unconscious, but doctors anticipated he would recover. Law enforcement authorities have reported that they believed the driver was dozing off and did not see traffic slowing.

Unfortunately, it was too late for him to notice the slowed traffic and that was when his 18-wheeler crashed into the vehicle where comedian Morgan was a passenger. The comedian is 45 years old. He was taken to the hospital and listed in critical condition. The accident has resulted in a wrongful death incident when one of the individuals in Morgan’s vehicle was killed.

Roper, accompanied by his attorney, turned himself in to state police. He was released on $50,000 bail Saturday night, Walmart spokesman David Tovar said.

This 18-Wheeler accident resulted in national news. However, this type of incident is not unusual in Texas. 18-wheeler accidents may be described as a common occurrence.

How do these accidents happen? Drivers sometimes fail to observe slow-moving traffic.  In the Morgan truck accident, the truck driver

was charged with one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto. The charges were brought after the tractor-trailer he was driving crashed into the van at 1 a.m.
