A 59-year old male has died in a car accident on I-10. The deceased was a passenger in a Chevrolet Impala. The fatality occurred at about 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning. We send our condolences to his family.
The Impala was travelling westbound on the Katy Freeway near Park Ten Boulevard when it was rear-ended by a Chevrolet Tahoe. The SUV slammed into the car with such force and alacrity that the passenger of the car died on impact or shortly thereafter at the scene. The driver of the Impala was airlifted to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
