Bandera County, TX motorcycle accident killed Kristine Riojas

On Behalf of | Sep 23, 2013 | Wrongful Death |

Near San Antonio, Texas, a motorcycle accident resulted in the death of McCue and Kristine Elizabeth Riojas. McCue was 42 years old. Kristine Riojas was 42 years old as well. Is this a wrongful death case?

Mr. McCue was from San Antonio and Ms. Riojas was from Boerne, Texas. Both died at the scene of the motorcycle accident. The accident happened around 1:00 p.m. this past Thursday.

Law enforcement authorities report that both were traveling south on Ranch Road 187. Ranch Road 187 is near Cypress Hollow Road. The Texas Department of Public Safety report that the motorcycle traveled off the road and crashed into a dry creek bed.

Is this a product defect case or a motorcycle driver error case? There are different types of product defect cases. For example, there are design defects, manufacturing defects and warning defects. Is that what we have here? If it was a driver error, were these individuals related? Married?

Our hearts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Mr. McCue and Kristine Riojas.

Still, we have questions. We ask what was the cause of the accident. Was there a defect with the motorcycle? Was there a tire or wheel defect that caused the motorcycle to crash? Further investigation should be conducted. We believe that Kristine Riojas was the passenger on the motorcycle. When there is a passenger death like this, we would assume that the family would have additional questions about the accident like whether this is a wrongful death case.
