| Richard D. Weaver is the principal in The Weaver Law Firm. He obtained his B.A. in English/Professional Writing from Baylor University and received his J.D. from South Texas College of Law. He established a background in complex business litigation and medical malpractice defense after working with one of Houston’s top law firms in the field. Weaver has successfully represented large corporations and plaintiffs in products liability litigation. |
| In addition to representing clients in commercial and real estate litigation, Weaver also enjoys the transactional side of business and real estate law. Title companies like Fidelity National Title utilize Mr. Weaver and The Weaver Law Firm to prepare real estate transaction documents. Builders and developers rely on The Weaver Law Firm for consultation on restrictive real estate situations. In addition, Weaver assists real estate investors, corporate entities and business owners by drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial and residential real estate purchase and lease agreements. |
| Weaver has authored and published several law and business related articles for Texans. Weaver served on the Economic Development Committee of the Galleria Chamber of Commerce (2003-04), the Committee for the Family Life Center at Second Baptist Church (2005-06), and is member of the American and Houston bar associations. Weaver and his wife, Jennifer, have one daughter, Helana. |
