On Behalf of | Aug 3, 2016 | Wrongful Death |

Sean Carothers was injured in a car accident in Amarillo, Texas. Eric Johnson was also involved in the collision. The unfortunate incident occurred on July 31, 2016. We would anticipate that this case may result in a personal injury lawsuit, especially once the investigation is complete.

According to reports, Johnson was driving on NE 3rd Ave. and allegedly neglected a red light. After he ran the light, reports indicate that he collided with Carothers’ motorcycle at the intersection of North Pierce. Carothers was hurt and his injuries are reportedly critical. Our hearts and deepest sympathies go out to Carothers and we hope he makes a speedy recovery.

What was the cause of the accident? Was anyone distracted or under the influence? Are there any other factors missing from this report?

It is always sad to hear about car collisions, and this accident is equally as sad. The roads are always a place where unpredictable moments take place. That is why driving safely is so important.

Although the police are doing their own investigating, they cannot always be fully relied upon. There are some questions that may still need answers and some actions that may need explanations. Personal injury lawyers do not always rely on the police reports. They often hire private investigators to find the answers to additional questions. Investigators often obtain helpful information that is not included in the police report, information that family members sometimes want to know.

The facts of this case may support a personal injury lawsuit. The Weaver Law Firm understands that family and friends may have plenty of questions regarding personal injury lawsuits.
